Ebizresponse Autoresponders

1. Where do I log in to access the auto responder accounts?
Go to: http://www.ebizresponse.com/and login with your username (ID number) and password.
2. Am I allowed to import leads into the auto responders?

No, this feature has been disabled effective September 29th 2006. This is in effort to prevent spam and other unwanted issues and protect other members who are subscribed to the same service.

3. How do I set up my auto responder?

The auto responder works a lot simpler and it's not as complicated as you think it is. In short, these are the steps to setting up your auto responder:

[1] Log into your auto responder account. Go to "Auto responders". Then click "Add new auto responder account".

[2] Fill in the form as follows:

- Account Identifier:
This is what you want to identify your account with a relevant name. Example: johndoe.

- From Name:
This is your name. Example: John Doe.

- From email:
Put in your primary and valid email address. DONT USE ANYTHING ELSE THAN A VALID ONE - not even a redirect email whatsoever. Example: john@doe.com.

- Copy follow-up letters from another autoresponder account:
Leave this blank.

- Confirmation Thank you page:
This is where your subscriber is redirected to upon confirmation of
their subscription. Example: http://www.yourdomain.com/thankyou.htm

- * Subject line of confirmation email:
This is the subject of your confirmation email, the one your subscriber will receive before confirming his subscription.

Example: %%FNAMEFriend%%, Please Confirm Your Subscription

- * Confirmation email to send to subscribers:

The body message of your confirmation mail. It can go like the following:

Hi %%FNAMEFriend%%,

This is John Doe here. You have requested to subscribe to my newsletter.

Please click on the link below to verify your subscription and also gain access to the special report downloads:

%%VERIFYLINK%%

- The header & footer (text and HTML)
The beginning and end of your emails every time you send them out. You can choose to leave them blank.

[3] Click CREATE ACCOUNT to have your auto responder created. You've got an autoresponder by now.

[4] Now go to "View Messages" in the auto responder interface to add in your first message. Your first message is normally the welcome message. It can be written something like:

Subject: %%FNAMEFriend%%, Thank You For Your Subscription

Hi %%FNAMEFriend%%,

This is John Doe here again. Thank you for your subscription to my mailing list/newsletter.

Warm Regards,
John Doe

The interval of the first message is always "immediate" whereby this is the first automated message your subscriber will receive upon confirming his or her subscription.

[5] You may add more automated messages to the auto responder onwards, if you wish to have your subscribers receive any automated emails from you. Just remember to set their intervals to be N days apart.

That's about it to creating your own auto responder.

[6] Once again, return to your account interface and go back to "Auto Responders". Now select [Form Codes] in your auto responder account (which is newly created by now).

[7] Tick the fields such as First Name (required), Last Name (optional), Email Address (required), and other optional fields that you require from your visitor to fill in before their opt into your mailing list. You will be prompt about the URL your visitor will go to after filling up the opt-in form as well.

Example: http://www.yourdomain.com/confirm.htm

[8] Click OK and then you'll be able to see a set of form codes. Copy and paste these codes into your web page or name squeeze page.

You're good to go!
